Full Version: Pilot skill roll after jumping with destroyed leg

I'm new to BattleTech, but my understanding is that a pilot skill roll is required after jumping with a destroyed leg.

However in my recent MegaMek game, this didn't happen.  It was a Spider 5V, with 8 / 12 / 8 movement; after the leg was destroyed it was reduced to 1 / 1 / 8.  After standing, I could however still jump freely without any pilot rolls (I was jumping all over the place, over many turns, without any problem).

Is this a bug, or is there something I'm missing?

Could you post a saved game?  Preferably create a new bug report ticket.
I just tried to reproduce the issue, but everything worked fine - so unfortunately the issue was specific to that game, which I don't have the savegame for.  I'll be sure to save the game the next time something like that happens.
