Custom mechs in a dedicated server

Hi everyone,

Just wondering about custom mechs on a dedicated server.

Is it just the dedicated server that needs the files, or do all the clients need them too?

Just the server needs custom units. The server will send everything about the unit to the client. Maps, however... only maps on the server can be played, but if a map the server has isn't on the client, then the client can't preview the map.
